Intensive Driving Course

Last Minute Instructor > Intensive Driving Course
đź”· Why Choose an Intensive Driving Course?
An intensive driving course is a fast, focused way to learn to drive. Unlike traditional weekly lessons, you’ll benefit from continuous driving without long gaps—helping you build skills quickly and retain knowledge effectively.
You’ll be matched with a fully qualified, dedicated instructor who will prioritize your learning and progress.
There’s no faster way to get test-ready and pass your driving test!
⸻
đź”· What Does an Intensive Course Involve?
An intensive driving course typically includes 4–6 hours of driving per day over consecutive days, with your practical test scheduled at the end of the course. This format ensures that everything you’ve learned remains fresh, giving you the best possible chance of success.
As the name suggests, this is an intense learning experience—it requires good concentration and the determination to keep improving. We always recommend a short break every 2–3 hours, which is not charged for.
Prefer a slower pace? A semi-intensive course might be a better option. This usually involves 2–4 hours of driving per day, with more flexibility—such as taking days off between lessons—to give you time to reflect and absorb what you’ve learned.
You may want to consider booking time off work for an intensive course, as lessons are typically scheduled on consecutive days, although this isn’t essential.
⸻
đź”· Driving Test Booking
If you haven’t already booked your practical driving test, we can assist in finding one for you.
Tip: If there are currently no driving tests available — or if you already have a test booked with a long wait — you can still begin your intensive driving course. In that case, you may reserve a few course hours for closer to your test. This way you will be at optimum level when taking your practical test.
⸻
đź”· What Makes Us Different?
Many companies promise intensive courses but fail to deliver. Some will take your deposit without securing an instructor, leaving clients frustrated and chasing refunds.
We only take a deposit once the course schedule has been agreed upon between the instructor and the client. The dates remain flexible and can be adjusted with sufficient notice.
Unlike many other intensive course providers, we guarantee the same instructor will be with you throughout your course. This ensures consistency in your learning and helps you build a strong rapport with your instructor—something that’s essential for rapid progress.
In the unlikely event of an issue such as illness or vehicle breakdown, we will do our very best to reschedule your lessons promptly and keep your course on track with minimal disruption.
